Coventry Hospital Car Parking

The Coventry Evening Telegraph are reporting that following a meeting with Coventry's Labour MPs that the widely opposed Parking Fees will not come into affect.

What I want to know is whether the Labour Government is giving any more money to the hospital to stop the funding crisis that caused the Hospital Trust to prospose implementinting the fees anyway. Or perhaps they want to take the credit for solving the problem (General Election in the offing perhaps?) and leave their colleague Labour City Councillor Phil Townshend, the chairman of the hospital trust, to be their fall guy?

I do hope Messrs Cunningham, Robinson and Ainsworth are going to accept responsibility for the fact that they as Labour MPs hold responsibility for the ridiculous situation in the first place.
